No more beta – the Adobe Flash 10.1 Player is now officially available on the Android platform, and what was once the domain of the Nexus One running on Android 2.2 Froyo, said software can installed on any Android phone that’s running on Android 2.2 Froyo. You need not root your hardware to download and install the Flash Player 10.1 application, but do be cautioned that it will still be unable to deliver the best experience with Flash, while slowing down your Android web browser in the process. In order to improve performance, why not tweak the settings and set plug-ins to “on demand”, letting you view Flash whenever you want. On another note, the Motorola Droid could very well get Adobe Flash Player 10.1 tomorrow, according to word of Verizon pushing out a software update. While the software update will not include Flash Player 10.1, it will let you access it in the Android Market.
