Interesting – the new Flash Player 10.1.82.76 now holds a feature which used to be in beta, and is now dubbed “Gala”. This means that H.264 GPU decoding in Mac OSX is now available on an official basis in said Flash Player. For thsoe who play H.264 content on their Mac machines should be able to notice an improvement with less CPU usage where the new version is concerned. There will not be any tiny white rectangle on the top left area of the screen as it has been removed. Future improvements will include a better video experience, so stay tuned.
