Folks are still busy speculating what Apple will be unveiling on its September 1st event, but aside from the possibility of a new Apple TV (iTV) unit, the smart money is also on an iTunes web service. Speculation is now going around that Apple will be unveiling a lightweight version of the iTunes Store on the web, one that would make it easier to share preferences over social networks, but wouldn’t include direct sharing. It’s also speculated that Apple might offer wireless syncing which would push content between Apple’s iPhone and a computer. With September 1st just around the corner, at least we won’t have to speculate for too long.
