Archos 5 Internet tablet reaches the end of the road?

The Archos 5 Internet tablet is the first Android-powered device from the company, rolling out a good one year ago. Well, it seems to have reached the end of the road as Best Buy is letting its inventory of the 16GB A5A disappear in due time, as most stores have already sold out the 5″ tablets that were once as plentiful as the buffalo which roam the plains of North America just a few months back. Those who are keen in observation would have noticed that a demo unit will most probably have disappeared, apart from a $30 discount off the $279.99 price point. While the 16GB model is stil available, its phasing out might just signal the advent of a newer Archos model.
