BlackBerry Torch Sales Low, Now Going For $99 On Contract

Things aren’t looking too hot for RIM’s newly-launched BlackBerry Torch as word is going around that the BlackBerry slider’s weekend sales was only around 150,000 units, which isn’t ideal. There is some good news for folks who are looking forward to getting this phone though, as Amazon is now offering the device at $99 on a two-year contract, which is half the price of the initial $199 asking price, though it probably confirms that sales of the device are less than stellar at the moment.
