Shutterbugs will be pleased to know that the Canon Powershot G12 is more or less confirmed via unofficial methods – we’re talking about it making a brief appearance online before it was pulled down promptly – but not before some eagle-eyed reader managed to capture a screenshot of it. The camera itself was detailed to come with a 10-megapixel sensor, 5x optical zoom, a 2.8-inch tilt and swivel screen, manual exposure control, HD video (720p) video recording and optical image stabilization capability.
