China Unicom could sell iPhone 4 from September onwards

China Unicom is China’s second-largest telecommunications operator, and they could stumble upon a goldmine from next month onwards, with rumors swirling around that the carrier might just start selling the iPhone 4 from September according to a report on state television. Representatives from Apple, China Unicom officials in Beijing and Hong Kong declined to comment on the situation, so we will just have to play the waiting game and wait for something official to sprout from one party or the other. While this might make it as big news in other countries, most subscribers in China might just find the price of the iPhone to be beyond their budget.
