Folks on a shoestring budget should be quite happy to hear that CVS will apparently be releasing its own $100 smartbook and $180 eBook reader sometime soon. Recently leaked marketing materials confirm that the store will be stocking a Sylvania netbook powered by Windows CE along with a color eBook reader. Details on the netbook weren’t mentioned just yet, but don’t expect it to be jaw-dropping, due to its budget pricing. The Look Book eBook reader should pack 512MB of storage, built-in wireless, and will have access to Kobo’s eBook store. Sounds like a cheap and simple solution if you want a netbook or eBook reader.
