The Dell Streak wasted no time in making its way across Europe, but it sure did amble along into the US with a recent rollout. What about folks living in Asia? Well, this 5″ Android-powered tablet/smartphone hybrid will most probably arrive in this part of the world sometime in early 2011, although there is no mention on which countries can expect it by then. Currently, the only way for one living in Asia to get their hands on the Dell Streak would be to purchase a cheap but locked model from Stateside, or fork out additional dough if you can spare it for an unlocked European model – all of that before factoring in the shipping and import costs. Guess the more prudent among you might prefer to settle for being patient, eh? Hopefully by the time it arrives in Asia, it won’t be gimped in terms of the operating system, featuring at least Android 2.2 Froyo with the possibility of Android 3.0 Gingerbread thrown in.
