Dish Network hopes to keep their subscribers happy with yet another value-added service, where one is able to watch satellite TV programs on mobile devices without forking out a single cent. This means the iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and BlackBerry smartphones will be able to enjoy this benefit from next month onwards, while those rocking to Android-powered smartphones will have to wait for another month after that. Of course, if you have a Dish-compatible, dual-tuner DVR at home, you will then be subject to watch whatever channel is set at home. Special hardware is also required with the SlingBox being compulsory, although there is another more costly option which is Dish’s own DVR with SlingBox features. For multiple DVR service, you will have to fork out $10 per month but gain from having recording capabilities as well. Is the world so boring that many people want to get entertained wherever they are?
