The Nintendo 3DS introduced the idea of a 3D display without the need to wear any glasses, and DXG has followed suit with their latest portable media player which delivers the depth of a 3D image or video to a human eye without having to wear a pair of 3D glasses as well. This is made possible using a similar method, merging a range of intricate mirrors that are worked into the display itself, making it look as though there is a level of depth to the screen. Available via Hammacher Schlemmer, this new display will feature a 3.2″ LCD display that does said 3D playback, but of course they recommend you view your 3D recordings over a dedicated 3D TV for better effect.
