Expert: CDMA iPhone 4 Will Sport The Same Antenna Design

Rumors of a Verizon CDMA iPhone have been going around for a long time now, and an expert claims that if a CDMA iPhone were to surface, Apple would pretty much leave the antenna design as it is. Some folks have speculated that Apple might want to take advantage of this period to rethink the iPhone’s antenna design, and perhaps even hide the antenna again. Others speculate that Apple might apply some nonconductive coating to the stainless steel band in order to solve the issue. According to the report, such a coating wouldn’t be enough to solve the antenna issues. So does this mean that the CDMA iPhone will be identical to the current iPhone 4 in terms of design? We’ll have to wait and see how things turn out, and keep in mind that Apple hasn’t even confirmed the existence of a CDMA iPhone.
