FCC confirms Kodak Pulse W1030 digital photo frame

The Kodak Pulse W1030 digital photo frame looks set to make its way to the market once all the relevant details have been sorted out after passing through the FCC’s hurdles with flying colors. This will be a 10″ model to complement the current 7″ sibling, where the W1030 (as it is called) will come with Wi-Fi connectivity, a USB port and a multi-memory card slot (plays nice with SD, SDHC, MMC, MS, MS Pro, MS Pro Duo and xD). No idea on when this will hit the market, but the FCC listing did point towards a 45 day confidentiality request, which carries the possibility of the Kodak Pulse W1030 making its way to retailers nationwide before the frenzied holiday shopping season begins. Have you thought of an essential reason to purchase a digital photo frame yet? Neither have we, but we will not stop you from picking up the Kodak Pulse W1030 if you like it that much. The Pulse is currently listed on Amazon UK, where it is touted to deliver a 10.4–inch 800×600 resolution touchscreen display alongside 512MB of internal memory, a September 6th release date and a price point of £170.
