HP Mini 210

HP is coming up with a Netbook refresh with the HP mini 210. This is a design update that keeps the same overall form factor with a 10.1″ (1024×600) display, a 93% full-size chiclet keyboard and the nice smooth surface on both sides of the computer. At 3.1lbs, there’s no integrated optical drive, but HP gives you the option to get a matching drive from them. The battery design has been modified so that even the extended battery doesn’t stick out from the slick design. This is great because now you don’t have to choose between design and battery life. HP claims up to 10h45mn with the 6-Cell battery, but it obviously depends on what you’re doing, so take that as a simple battery drainage benchmark. Inside, you will find an Atom N455 processor but only 1GB of memory, there’s also a 250GB hard drive and an integrated webcam. I wish that it could get 3GB of RAM…
