HTC Desire Z Offers Sliding Keyboard

A leaked screenshot of the HTC Desire Z on the Mobiles.co.uk website shows an HTC Android device that offers a sliding keyboard in landscape orientation similar to the HTC Vision. The device is said to be related to the HTC Desire HD. The Desire Z ill have a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen and a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor; it was previously spotted in the inventory system of Vodafone Germany. The Desire Z will run on Android 2.1 rather than launch with Android 2.2 Froyo.
