The HTC Droid Eris is no longer on sale from Verizon for more than a month already, and if you have a soft spot for the Android-powered smartphone, you might be interested to know that Disney could very well use the Droid Eris as a GPS tour guide. Needless to say, it will feature a GPS-enabled map complete with up-to-minute wait times for rides as well as various show times. Not only that, whenever you enter a country around the World Showcase, it will also offer trivia and tricks for the more cerebral types. Apart from that, other bonuses are also thrown into the mix with the device, including a huge 50% discount at various gift shops. No idea on whether you will need to fork out more to rent this on your vacation the next time you drop by one of Walt Disney’s fantasy theme parks, but it wins brownie points with us for recycling old electronics.
