Folks who are experiencing troubles with the Android 2.2 FroYo update from HTC for their EVO 4G might want to take note that a fix has been posted, bumping the version from .3 to .6, which is the final production version. If you’re running the unofficial version (.3 version) of the firmware, you’ll be able to initiate the firmware download on your phone by heading over to Settings > System Updates > HTC software update, that’s if the update hasn’t already been pushed to your phone.
