We covered just a bit of the HTC Desire HD earlier last week, which is also known as the HTC Ace as its codename. While we knew that the Desire HD will come with an aluminum unibody design which is similar to that of the HTC Legend, here are more details to whet your appetite. It will be pretty similar to the HTC EVO 4G, save for the difference in RAM size. Word on the street has it that the Desire HD will up the ante by offering 4GB RAM – that’s more than what netbooks come with these days, although the 1GHz processor will remain the same. There is also no trackpad which is more or less pretty popular with many recently introduced Android-powered phones from HTC these days, and it will also have the latest version of Android (FroYo, aka Android 2.2) installed when it ships to make it a closer user experience to the iPhone 4/3GS.
