
If you were wondering whether the $35 tablet device would actually become a reality, India’s Human Resource Development Minister has gone on record to promise that the Indian government will be offering a million of these cheap tablet devices to students in 2011, which does mean that the project will have some solid backing behind it. We do know some specifications of this Android-powered tablet, which includes confirmation that it will offer 2GB of RAM, Wi-Fi, 3G, and microSD card expansion.
