Blu-ray players are getting much more common in homes across America these days, although it is nowhere near the proliferation rate of the Sony PS3. Well, Inkel ups the ante (in South Korea, at least) with the VR-654BD Blu-ray player that comes equipped with a built-in 7.1-channel AV receiver to make full use of your spanking new home theater system. Apart from the given Blu-ray and DVD support, the device also features USB 2.0 connectivity, the ability to handle DivX and XviD file format playback straight off a USB flash drive, DB Live 2.0, and an integrated FM tuner radio. It will hit the South Korea market at the end of this month for the equivalent of $600, and might just see action elsewhere in due time.
