iOS 4 Code Hints At Upcoming CDMA iPhone?

The rumors of a CDMA iPhone seem to be gaining momentum, as it has been discovered that code in iOS 4 seems to support devices that are running on alternate networks and will automatically activate them without having to connect to iTunes. Apparently the code has always existed to help carriers test devices, but the code was always removed before the final release. The code is rumored to cater to either a CDMA iPhone or a new iPad, and hopefully the rumored January launch date for a CDMA iPhone will become a reality. Aside from that, it’s been said that the codename for the CDMA iPhone, which was previously hinted as the N92, will be the N92AP, while the next-generation iPod touch is labeled the N81AP.
