With the latest point release of Ubuntu, Kubuntu developers have been keeping their hands busy working on the 10.04 release, where it will merge the slew of security fixes, bug fixes, or updated packages or applications which were released since the original 10.04 release. Updated to 10.04.1, the new ISO images were updated to include all the post-release fixes delivered since Kubuntu and Kubuntu Netbook Remix debuted, including updated desktop installation CDs for the i386 and amd64 architectures and an updated ISO image for USB installs for netbooks. For those who already have 10.04 up and running, you need not do anything if you have been running scheduled updates regularly. We believe only a small percentage of our readers will wet their pants upon hearing this, but we want to cater to a wide number of eyes as well. If you haven’t given Kubuntu a go, why not?
