Microsoft to boost Xbox LIVE audio quality this coming fall

The update will also coincide with the Kinect’s November launch, so you ought to be able to enjoy and updated audio codec which handles all your online chatting and strategizing in greater clarity. No more excuses when you bark out orders and have them “mis-heard” by your team mates! According to Xbox Live Europe general manager Jerry Johnson, the basic codec originally required a mere 64k connection, and says that it is time to take things to the next level.
