Motorola Devour To Receive Firmware Update

Verizon seems to be pretty busy updating the software on its cell phones recently, and we’re not complaining. After bumping the original Motorola Droid to Android 2.2 FroYo, next up is an update for the Motorola Devour, offering the new software version listed as CALAND_X_01.1.10, though the downside is that it doesn’t update the Devour’s Android version. Improvements in this latest firmware include voicemail, V Cast video on-demand, 3G coverage improvements and also the pre-loading of the CityID app to offer city/state display on caller ID.
