With every Android owner out there busy thinking when they’ll be getting hold of the Android 2.2 update for their device, Motorola Droid X owners should be quite happy to hear that rumor is going around that said device will be getting the Android 2.2 FroYo treatment by early September. If that’s true, seems that Droid X users won’t have to wait too much longer to get in on the FroYo fun, though it would be a lot cooler if Verizon were to offer the update in August.
