Motorola has underlined its intent to make a menacing presence in the tablet market by naming its upcoming tablet as the Motorola Stingray. This Android-powered tablet has the same model number as the earlier mentioned device, the Moto MZ600, albeit sporting the Stingray moniker in this latest document. Stingray might not even make it to the assembly line name-wise as it could very well be a codename. Rumors of its specifications? A generous 10″ display, an NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset with the mouth-watering prospect of it being FiOS-enabled for Verizon, and a front-facing camera with an opposite number on the back. There are also whispers going around that Motorola might just wait to have for Android 3.0 Gingerbread to hit the market before rolling the Stingray out. While it might trump the iPad, Apple could very well release an iPad sequel to quash all competition.
