Netgear decides that wireless is the way to go, and the company has just introduced a new wireless N and PowerLine networking combination which will be able to offer an instant high-throughput Wi-Fi network that rides along to your home wiring as long as there is a free electrical outlet around. According to Netgear, the AV 200 is capable of extending your current Wi-Fi network at speeds of up to 200Mbps through the use of running a wireless signal via copper wiring in your home to be rebroadcast elsewhere when required. Of course, the presence of electrical interference might just drop speeds by a notch, so you might not want to run the dishwasher or use a vacuum cleaner when you’ve got a big clan match going on that evening.
