Nike Files For Auto Lacing Sneaker Patent

Anybody who has watched Back to the Future II will probably remember the self-lacing Nike shoes. It’s been a dream of many a person out there for years and now Nike has patented the technology, along with the necessary charging station. It doesn’t look like we’ll be getting such shoes anytime soon, but at least we’re moving in the right direction. That being said, someone did come up with self-lacing sneakers a while back, but there was a rather ugly looking motor at the back.
