Onkyo’s latest Blu-ray player, the BD-SP808, will offer BLOCKBUSTER On Demand from September onwards. What is BLOCKBUSTER On Demand, you ask? Well, this service enables customers to browse and select certain movies the moment they hit the DVD and Blu-ray formats without having to fork out extra for a monthly subscription fee. Apart from that, you can also utilize the system’s search tool, view ratings, trailers and other information about each movie that makes each viewing experience a much more personalized one (albeit in a simplified manner).
