The folks over at Google seem to be quite happy at the response to its freshly-announced Gmail calling feature. A tweet posted by the search engine giant claims that it has already had 1,000,000 phone calls placed using the service in just under 24-hours. The service allows users to place VoIP calls from right within the browser, and make calls to the US and Canada for free. If you want to make a call to other countries, you can do so under some affordable rates. If you haven’t used it before, give it a go.
