Panasonic offers BDXL-supporting models for the home, includes stereoscopic 3D capability

Love carrying around up to 100GB of data on a single disc? That’s possible with the BDXL format, and Panasonic has just released more BDXL-compatible Blu-ray players, where three of those will feature stereoscopic 3D support as well. As part of the Diga series, these recorders will ship in Japan from September 15th onwards where all of them will come with dual tuners and accompanied by a range of hard drives which start from 500GB, going all the way to 2TB. This makes it a snap for you to transfer recorded data onto BDXL discs, but the length of the burning process might not be what you’re used to, so do be prepared mentally beforehand while stocking up on your patience reserves.
