Pantech To Ditch AMOLED Displays For Its Future Smartphones Due to AMOLED Shortage?

Looks like HTC isn’t the only company that has been affected by the recent AMOLED display shortage, as Pantech has confirmed that its upcoming phones that will be rolled out in the first half of next year won’t be boasting AMOLED displays, which hints that the AMOLED display shortage will be around for a while more. It wasn’t mentioned if Pantech will be following HTC’s footsteps and replacing AMOLED displays with Sony’s SLCD displays, though.
