Record and Play pens

Yuri Suzuki and Oscar Diaz have come together to work on the Record & Play pens, where these designers’ teamwork enables a person to “record” a drawing using a special type of ink (and the record pen, of course), while playing the drawing back as a sound thanks to the playback pen. The recording pen is touted to use a similar ink in terms of composition to cassette tapes, which basically allows you to record a drawing per se, and playing it back in loops if you decide to go nuts. This convergence of sight and sound isn’t practical in any way, but then again art is extremely subjective so you never quite know when this might be all the rage amongst the more cultured folks.
