Rumors of a Google Chrome OS tablet hitting Verizon have been going around for a while now, and the latest rumor claims that Google’s Chrome OS tablet is being built by HTC, and will be launched on Verizon come November 26th. According to the rumor, the device will be subsidized by the carrier, and will be significantly cheaper than the iPad, though you’ll obviously be tied to a Verizon data plan. If the rumor is accurate, this tablet will offer specifications such as:
- NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform
- 1280 x 720 pixel multi-touch display
- 2GB of RAM
- 32GB SSD
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- 3G connectivity
- GPS
- Webcam
- Expandable storage
