Samsung has announced its latest 90 Series SyncMaster LED-backlit monitor, the FX2490HD. This 24-inch monitor is capable of doubling up as a TV, thanks to its built-in TV tuner, and sports a quad-stand design, along with useful TV features such as Picture-in-Picture (PIP), which allows users to browse the web and watch their TV program as the same time. Other features include 7.1-channel Dolby support, a USB port for video playback, two HDMI ports and HD video support. The FX2490HD will be going for KRW549,000 ($470) in South Korea.
