
Taking slightly more than 45 days, Samsung has announced that they have managed to ship over a million Galaxy S smartphones, although this might not be as impressive as to how the iPhone performed, it is still worth looking into. Bear in mind that shipping here does not equate to sales, and we’re talking about a collection of Galaxy S variants and not just a solitary handset. There was also word from Samsung that all Galaxy S devices will be upgradable to Android 2.2 down the road. Come on Samsung, why don’t you give us something much more specific to work on instead of cryptic messages?
