SanDisk Sansa Fuze+ MP3 player available now

The MP3 player market is more or less cornered by Apple, and the SanDisk Sansa Fuze+ MP3 player intends to carve a niche for itself by being advertised as “delivering a best-in-class combination of features, ease of use and value.” Meant to take over where the popular Sansa Fuze MP3 player left off, the plus model has been completely redesigned, helping its user achieve a hassle-free and satisfying user experience without breaking the psychological $100 mark. Coming in a thin form factor that can fit into the palm of your hand comfortably, it also has a new capacitive touchpad that delivers a touchscreen-like experience sans obscuring the device’s 2.4-inch QVGA LCD display. Other features include an integrated FM radio whenever you run out of MP3s to listen to, support for a wide range of video and audio codecs, a microSDHC memory card slot, and a rechargeable battery that delivers 24 hours of audio playback or up to five hours of video playback. You can choose from red, white, black, blue and purple colors, where it will arrive in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB models that retail for $79, $89 and $119, respectively.
