Sony Announces Its NX810 BRAVIA 3D TVs

Sony has unveiled its latest 3D TVs in the US, bearing the NX810 model number, replacing the current NX800. The design is sleek and elegant as always, and features built-in Wi-Fi, Edge LED lit display, widgets, an ambient light sensor and 3D support. The downside of the NX810 series is that despite its price, it won’t come bundled with 3D glasses, so you’ll need to purchase the glasses and emitter separately in order to enjoy the 3D goodness. The NX810 will be available come September in 60-,55-, and 46-inch sizes, priced at $4,700, $3,700, and $3,000 respectively. Specifications of the NX810 series 3D TVs include:

  • Full HD 1080p resolution with 3D support
  • DynamicEdge LED backlighting with local dimming
  • Motionflow PRO 240Hz technology for Smooth Motion
  • Built-in Wi-Fi
  • BRAVIA Internet Video and Widgets
  • LightSensor (not available on the 46-inch model)
