Details are still quite scarce, but a recent edition of Game Informer Australia claims that Sony has stated that developers are already working on preparing games for the unannounced PlayStation 4. Of course, Sony’s popular PlayStation 3 has been around for quite a few years, and it’s possibly time for Sony to come up with a new console, with speculation going around that the next-generation console will arrive in 2012. The fact that developers might already have details of the next-generation PlayStation would make sense, as it can sometimes take more than a year to develop some proper games, and the developers will need to know what kind of hardware they’ll be able to utilize. Do you think that it’s high time for Sony to introduce the next-generation PlayStation, or do you think the PlayStation 3 is more than adequate for your gaming needs?
