Verizon BREW-powered Devices To Support Skype

Verizon and Skype have announced that a deal has been put in place to bring the Skype mobile application to more Verizon devices that are running on the BREW platform. The Skype mobile app for BREW devices such as the LG enV TOUCH, LG Chocolate Touch and Samsung Reality should work the same way as it does on the carrier’s smartphones, giving them all the benefits of Skype such as VoIP calls, instant messages and calls to landlines and mobile phones overseas.
