ViewSonic has announced that the company will further its environmental initiative within the industry by transitioning its entire line of displays to LED technology by early 2011. The move will give consumers better performance, increased contrast ratios, and lower energy consumption, making it a win for technology and the environment.
The announcement comes just a few months after the company had unveiled the 22-inch VX2250wm-LED monitor. Other LED displays will follow suit as ViewSonic begins its eco-friendly transition. According to the company’s vice president, “ViewSonic is leading the way towards a greener, more cost efficient future by delivering an array of green LED products for our customers to choose from.”
