webOS 2.0 Roadrunner Device Appears In App Logs

This is still very much unconfirmed at this point, so you might want to take it with a pinch of salt. A webOS developer has been going through some app log data and has recently found an entry for a device dubbed “Roadrunner” and a spot for webOS 2.0 in the operating system charts. We’ve previously got wind that webOS 2.0 will be released by the end of the year, which would hint at new hardware, but this is the first time that anybody has brought up the name Roadrunner. Of course, if webOS 2.0 is to arrive before the year is out, along with a new device, you’d expect it to be undergoing testing at the moment. We’re certainly looking forward to see what the next major version of webOS will look like, especially since Palm is now part of HP’s empire.
