Details are still quite sketchy at the moment but word is going around that Quanta has received an order for 11.6-inch MacBooks from Apple, and shipments of this 11.6-inch MacBook are expected to top 400,000 to 500,000 units in 2010. If this rumor is true, it wasn’t immediately clear whether the 11.6-inch notebook is a MacBook or MacBook Air, the former which isn’t really due for an update and the latter which is long overdue for an update.
