Panasonic has announced that the 3D Blu-ray release of Avatar will initially be exclusive to Panasonic TVs. In a partnership with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, the deal will only limit the first run of Blu-ray discs released in December. The 3D Blu-ray promotion will most likely be available in several different bundles with 3D Viera Plasma TVs, while Panasonic consumer marketing VP has mentioned that the company will also be making the movie available to customers who have already purchased a 3D Viera TV.
