3M Shoot N Share does more than just capture images

3M seems bent on cornering the pico projector market what with the announcement of two new models earlier this morning, and they aren’t going to rest on their laurels by introducing yet another handheld device – the Shoot N Share. Coming with a 5-megapixel sensor to shoot stills, it will also be able to record 720p MP4 videos. Whenever you’re done capturing and recording, you can always switch over to the capacitive projector function on the spot – of course, this means showing off raw footage but it will definitely be a novel item to have at weddings. Unfortunately, 14 lumens of brightness doesn’t really cut the mustard in bright sunlight, so using this in a dark ballroom might be a better idea. Video resolution is also pretty disappointing at 640 x 480 pixels, but what did you expect for $299? Other hardware specifications include a microSD memory card slot and an HDMI port.
