Acer Aspire Revo 3700 ushers in bigger and better nettop era

Nettops are catching on as a decent alternative to a full powered desktop, especially when your needs for a computer requires basic computing capability. In this case, an Atom processor is enough, although Acer does not want to shortchange you with a dual-core Intel Atom D525 1.8GHz processor, throwing in 4GB RAM, NVIDIA ION 2 graphics with DirectX 10 and 3D support as well, a 500GB hard drive, Wi-Fi N connectivity, HDMI support and Gigabit Ethernet in case you’re so in love with cables. Expect the Acer Aspire Revo 3700 to retail for around $580 when it rolls out before the year is over. Gotta love the small size that would make it at home in just about any living room.
