With the announcement of the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet still fresh in everyone’s mind, Amazon is quick to jump on the PlayBook bandwagon with the announcement that it will be launching its popular Kindle app for said tablet. Specific features weren’t mentioned, but we do know that it will feature Amazon’s Whispersync technology that will sync your place across devices, allowing you to pick up where you left off. The PlayBook is slated to ship in early 2011, so we’ll probably have to wait a few months for this app to surface.
