If you haven’t played it before, you’ve probably heard of the insanely-addictive Angry Birds game. It was previously only available on the iOS platform, but has since been launched for webOS. The good news for Android-owners is that the developers of Angry Birds have been sending out emails notifying folks that the beta for the game will be available to Android users this Friday, which is just around the corner. Is this the game that you’ve been waiting for to arrive on the Android platform?

Android Android is mobile operating system from Google. The software was originally built by a company called Android Inc, that was purchased by Google in 2005. From its modest debuts, Android has become a powerhouse that powers not only smartphones and tablet, but a host of other less high-profile devices and gadgets. Although Android is not a community-driven project, Google does release the source code as open-source under the Apache license.
