Remember the Apple Peel 520 case which could very well slow down sales of actual iPhones? Well, Go Solar USA has started to ship its Apple Peel 520 case for the iPod touch in China. Just to recap, this peripheral will turn any compatible iPod touch into an actual smartphone, what with the case boasting an integrated battery as well to deliver another 4.5 hours of usage. Other features include a Dock Connector and SIM card slot. Before you get all excited about the Apple Peel 520 case though, bear in mind that your iPod touch will need to be jailbroken beforehand, with another application installed prior to making calls, sending and receiving text messages. Expect it to retail for around $60 if it ever arrives Stateside, although we’re pretty sure that some people out there have already taken the more enterprising route of shipping one over.
