Every time Apple files a new patent, folks always like to inspect it and see if it’ll give any hint to an upcoming Apple product. This time Apple’s latest patent has many folks scratching their heads, as the patent covers a new material that could be used in future products. The material is a type of composite laminate that would include a wide range of materials, including glass, synthetics, metals, and possibly even epoxy. The patent itself doesn’t provide any hint as to how Apple could be planning to use this, and all we know is that Apple has been granted the patent for improving the cosmetic surface of this material. Strange.
